Abstract:

To obtain a dielectric porcelain compsn. capable of firing at ≤1,800°C, capable of preventing the occurrence of irregularity in color and capable of ensuring a relative dielectric constant of ≥15,000.

This dielectric porcelain compsn. is made of a perovskite type multiple oxide contg. at least Pb, Mg, Nb, Zn and Sm and metallic elements represented by the formula Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-Pb(Sm1/3Nb2/3)O3. The amts. of PbO, MgO, Nb2O5, ZnO and Sm2O3 as oxides of the metallic elements are 66.86-67.85wt.%, 2.65-3.53wt.%, 26.62-27.61wt.%, 1.50-3.19wt.% and 0.01-0.19wt.%, respectively.
