PURPOSE: To improve productivity and to eliminate unfinished working parts to improve yield rate by welding the rear end of the wire stock during dieless wire drawing and the front end of the wire stock to be wire drawn and performing the dieless drawing continuously.
CONSTITUTION: In front of a back tension adding device 21, butt welder 24 is set up, the welder 24 is movable in the traveling direction of the wire stock 11 following with the wire stock 11. When the rear end of the wire stock 11 during the dieless wire drawing is released from a drawing out bobbin 12, while the welder 24 is moved from the position of the solid line to the position of the dashed line, the butt welding of rear end of the wire stock 11 and the front end of the wire stock to be dieless wire drawn after this, is performed. By this method, the dieless wire drawing is performed continuously, the unfinished working parts of the front end part and rear end part of the wire stock are eliminated.
