PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diene polymer having polar functional groups introduced to both terminals by radical polymerization and a method for producing the same, a polymer emulsion and a rubber composition comprising the diene polymer, and a pneumatic tire comprising the rubber composition.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a diene polymer having polar functional groups at both terminals obtained by the radical polymerization of radical polymerizable monomers in the presence of polar functional group-containing disulfide compounds.SELECTED DRAWING: None
