Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve acceleration responsiveness of an engine as the occurrence of a shock and the increase of smoke are prevented when an intake shutter valve 22 of a direct injection diesel engine 1 is closed even during running of a vehicle and the generation of vibration noise is decreased. SOLUTION: When an engine rotation speed ne is in a low rotation state below a set rotation speed ne* and an accelerator is in an off-state, pilot injection is effected by an injector 5 and the generation of vibration and noise is reduced in a way that the intake shutter valve 22 is closed as ignition stability and combustibility of main injection fuel are improved by executing pilot injection by an injector 5. When change gear operation of a transmission is effected by a driver during running of a vehicle, closing operation of the intake shutter valve 22 is prohibited until a lapse of a given period. During deceleration of a vehicle, closing operation of the intake shutter valve 22 is prohibited until a manifold pressure p supercharged by a VGT 30 is reduced to a value lower than a set value.
