Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent hunting of output of a diesel engine by preventing the occurrence of a vapor lock phenomenon even if fuel is switched to light oil having low viscosity from heavy oil having high viscosity and much moisture when stopping the diesel engine in an operation device of the diesel engine using the heavy oil such as C heavy fuel oil as the fuel, in detail, the operation device of the diesel engine for smoothly switching the fuel when stopping the diesel engine. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor for detecting a fuel temperature is interposed midway of a fuel main passage. A light oil pressurizing pump device operated by pressurizing the light oil is interposed midway of a light oil passage. A control device is arranged for operating the light oil pressurizing pump device when the fuel temperature detected via the temperature sensor is not less than a vapor lock generating temperature when stopping this diesel engine.
