Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hybrid compound which makes use of characteristic of a ferrocene compound to resolve a problem, imparts a reversible redox property to an organic site, and forms a redox system both in a metal site, i.e., iron atom and in the organic site surrounding the metal site.
SOLUTION: Diferrocenoditiin compound is characterized by a compound represented by formula 1, or a compound in which a substituent group may be bonded to a five-membered ring in formula 1.
