To obtain a different shrinkage type polyester-based combined filament yarn which has an excellent puffing feeling, repulsive feeling and soft feeling.
The different shrinkage type polyester-based combined filament yarn comprises at least two kinds of fiber groups. One fiber group (A) comprises a side-by-side type conjugated fiber which is composed of two kinds of polyesters not containing a copolymerization component and having difference in intrinsic viscosity and which has 12-30 crimps/cm after treatment with boiling water. The other fiber group (B) comprises at least a polyester having shrinkage properties different from those of the fiber group (A). The fineness of the single filaments of the fiber group (A) and the fiber group (B) constituting the combined filament yarn is 1.5-5.5 dtex.
