Title:
DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT AND A/D CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014209670
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure an input voltage range wider than ever before.SOLUTION: In a differential amplifier circuit 8, transistors NH1 and NH2 of a differential pair 21 are constituted from depression-type MOS transistors, and the other transistors are constituted from enhancement-type MOS transistors. For this reason, threshold voltages of the transistors NH1 and NH2 are set to be lower than threshold voltages of the other transistors. When a minimum voltage inputted to the differential amplifier circuit 8 is Vmin and an active gate voltage of a transistor N4 is Veff(N4), the transistors NH1 and NH2 have a threshold voltage VT(NH1, NH2) lower than (Vin(min)-Veff(N4)).
