Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent combustion gas and air in a cavity from being mixed into molten metal by vibrating the molten metal in a molten metal vessel into the cavity by differential pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A based board 14 is arranged above the molten metal vessel 13 and a lower part air-tight vessel 19 for covering the molten metal vessel 13 is fitted at the lower face of the base board 14. When pressurized gas is force fed through a pressurized gas introducing hole 19a in the lower part air-tight vessel 19, the surface of the molten metal 12 stored in the molten metal vessel 13 is pushed up. A part of the molten metal 12 is pushed up through a supplying pipe 18 and poured into the cavity 16. At the time of this pouring, by reciprocating a vol. changeable piston 20b in a vibration giving means 20, the vibration in the direction of pouring the molten metal is given to the molten metal 12 in the molten metal vessel 13. By giving this vibration, the air existing in the boundary surface between the inner wall surface of the cavity 16 and the molten metal 12 is discharged from the wall surface of the cavity 16.
