Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential current output unit in which a chip area is reduced by decreasing the number of capacitors in use, an output current is varied smoothly depending on a variation in differential input voltage, a variation in transistor characteristics, e.g. a current amplification factor, due to a temperature or the like, and which has substantially no effect on output current characteristics and in which stabilized operation is ensured.
SOLUTION: Output current characteristics are stabilized by constituting all circuits from the input to the output of a differential circuit and a current mirror circuit having a specified mirror ratio and a current flowing through upper and lower transistor circuits (i.e. a through current) is prevented by separating the upper and lower transistor circuits using a separation circuit.
