Abstract:
To improve accuracy of estimating a possibility of a vehicular differential device going into a seizure.SOLUTION: A differential device monitoring-method for monitoring a state of a vehicular differential device includes: detecting a slanting angle of a vehicular body; and calculating a degree of seizure alert of the differential device on the basis of a vehicle state parameter including the slanting angle. Comparing in a state where a vehicle state parameter other than the slanting angle is the same, the aforementioned calculation is conducted so that a degree of seizure alert in the case of the slanting angle being at a first slanting angle is higher than a degree of seizure alert in the case of the slanting angle being at a second slanting angle that is smaller than the first slanting angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
