Abstract:
To provide a differential device that can improve support rigidity of a pinion gear shaft while restraining an increase in weight, and a product group of the differential device.SOLUTION: A differential device 3 comprises a pinion gear shaft 4 comprising a shaft part 41 and a gear part 42, a ring gear 30 engaged with the gear part 42, a differential case 31 to be rotated integrally with the ring gear 30, a pair of pinion gears 33 and a side gear 34 housed in the differential case 31, a differential carrier 5 comprising a housing space 51a housing the differential case 31 and the ring gear 30, and a pair of bearings 61 and 62 supporting the pinion gear shaft 4 rotatably with respect to the differential carrier 5. The differential carrier 5 integrally comprises an inside cylindrical part 531 in which the pair of bearings 61 and 62 are internally fitted, an outside cylindrical part 532 provided radially outside the inside cylindrical part 531, and a connection part 530 connecting the inside cylindrical part 531 and the outside cylindrical part 532.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
