Abstract:
To prevent a difference from being generated between a torque bias rate at the time when a total torque of right and left wheels rises and a torque bias rate at the time when the total torque falls.SOLUTION: A differential device for vehicles comprises a pair of substantially cylindrical side gears 30 and 40 provided in parallel along an axis CL1. The pair of side gears 30 and 40 include inner side gears 31 and 41 and outer side gears 32 and 42 disposed radially inside and radially outside around the axis CL1. The inner side gears 31 and 41 include shaft splines 310 and 410 including torsional teeth formed on the outer peripheral surfaces thereof, and the outer side gears 32 and 42 include hole splines 320 and 420 including torsional teeth formed on the inner peripheral surfaces thereof. The torsional teeth of the shaft splines 310 and 410 are formed while being crowed along a tooth trace.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
