Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential device which does not require to operate an actuator for pressing a clutch member while a vehicle which can be switched between a four-wheel drive state and a two-wheel drive state by the axial direction movement of the clutch member is running in a four-wheel drive state, and which can sufficiently secure a pressing force of an energization member for energizing the clutch member to the opposite side from the movement direction by the actuator.SOLUTION: A differential device 1 includes a first engagement part 224 on one side wall 222 of a differential case 2, a clutch member 5 has a second engagement part 51 on the side wall 222 side, and a wave washer 8 is arranged between the other side wall 211 of the differential case 2 and the clutch member 5. While an actuator 6 is not operating, the first engagement part 224 and the second engagement part 51 are engaged with each other by an energization force of the wave washer 8 into a four-wheel drive state, and by a pressing force by the operation of the actuator 6, the engagement between the first engagement part 224 and the second engagement part 51 is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
