Abstract:
To prevent increase in size while improving functionality.SOLUTION: A differential device includes: a differential case rotated by power transmitted through a drive gear; a pinion shaft having a gear portion and rotatable to the differential case; a pinion gear rotated integrally with the pinion shaft and revolved in accompany with rotation of the differential case; a side gear engaged with the pinion gear and transmitting the power from the drive gear to an axle; a rotor having a transmission gear portion engaged with the gear portion and rotated integrally with the pinion shaft; and a differential limiting mechanism applying a load to rotation, to the pinion shaft through the rotor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
