Abstract:
To reduce the size of a differential-mode electrical protection device.SOLUTION: A differential-mode electrical protection device comprises N-1 phase conductors 7 and 9. Each phase conductor comprises: a part allowing a torus 10 to pass between input connection lands 11 and 13 and output connection lands 14 and 16; and a part allowing a current measurement and supply sensors 4 and 6. Each input connection land is arranged to a first flat surface P1, and each output connection land is extended to a second flat surface P2. The supply of N-1 phase conductors and a measurement sensor are arranged in a space positioned between two flat surfaces P1 and P2. The device further comprises an additional phase conductor 8 including the input connection land and the output connection land. The part allowing the torus to pass and the part allowing the additional measurement sensor 17 to pass only measure a current. The additional measurement sensor has a small size, and is arranged just above of the torus so that an assembly formed by the torus and the additional sensor are actually positioned in a space of two flat surfaces P1 and P2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
