To provide a differential gear device comprising first and second rotatable sun gears arranged coaxially and a rotatable carrier for supporting first and second planetary gears meshing with the sun gears, respectively, so as to be freely revolved, for improving meshing accuracy and supporting rigidity between the first and second sun gears and between the first and second planetary gears.
The differential gear device comprises the first and second rotatable sun gears 1, 2, the first planetary gear 4 meshing with the first sun gear 1, the second planetary gear 5 to be rotated integrally with the first planetary gear 4 and meshing with the second sun gear 2, and the carrier 6 for supporting the first and second planetary gears 4, 5. The carrier 6 has a first bearing 7 supporting the first sun gear 1, a second bearing 8 supporting the second sun gear 2, and a pair of third bearings 23, 24 to which shaft portions 4a, 5a provided on one side of the planetary gears 4, 5 are fitted, respectively.
