Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a differential gear unit which can ensure the flow of oil passing through the outer periphery side from the inner periphery side at the centering part of a boss part in a side gear.
CONSTITUTION: This differential gear, which is of parallel shaft type and is equipped with a differential case 21, a pair of side gears 53, 55 aligned at a centering part 65 which are fitted each other, pinion gears 77, 79 and storage holes 73, 75 which accommodate pinion gears 77, 79 so as to rotate while sliding, is provided with a groove part 101 leading to the outer periphery side from the inner periphery side of boss parts 57, 59 in the side gears 53, 55.
