Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently supply lubricant to an engagement part with a side gear and a slide part of a pinion to prevent seizure of the slide part, even in severe operation situations such as a situation in which the pinion rotates at high speed, in a differential gear that transmits rotational force of an input member capable of rotating together with a pinion support part so as to distribute the force to a pair of output shafts, the differential gear including: a pair of side gears having a tooth part provided on its outer peripheral part and engaged to the pinion, and connected to the output shafts; and a cover part covering the outside of at least one side gear, and rotating integrally with the input member.SOLUTION: A predetermined inner peripheral portion Iia positioned around a pinion P, in an inner peripheral surface Ii, surrounding a side gear S, of an input member I is formed so as to separate from a rotational axis line L of the input member I with respect to any other inner peripheral portion, and thereby constitutes an oil storage part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
