Abstract:
To provide a differential gear capable of reducing agitation resistance generated when a differential cage rotates.SOLUTION: The differential gear includes the differential cage rotatably housed in a housing filled with lubrication oil, and provided with a ring gear to which power from a driving source is inputted. The differential cage comprises a boss part, in which a driving shaft is inserted, a disc part extending outward in a radial direction from the boss part and provided with the ring gear, and a rib provided across the boss part and the disc part. The rib has a face directed to a front side in a rotation direction of the differential cage, and inclined backward in the rotation direction as it goes away from the disc part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
