Abstract:
To provide a differential gear with sufficient assembling workability and a simple structure capable of restraining axial movement in a notch part of a case half body of a shaft part of a pinion shaft under a coupling state of a pair of case half bodies.SOLUTION: In a differential gear 10, a differential case C comprises a pair of case half bodies C1, C2 adjacent to each other in an axial direction. One case half body C1 has a notch part K, which extends in an axial direction in a manner that one end Ko is opened to a face opposed to the other case half body C2, and in which a shaft part 24a of a pinion shaft 24 can be inserted. The other case half body C2 has a supporting convex part 32t fitted with the notch part K in the axial direction. Under an assembling state of the differential gear 10 in which a pair of case half bodies C1, C2 are coupled with each other, the shaft part 24a of the pinion shaft 24 inserted in the notch part K is nipped between the supporting convex part and the notch part K, and the pinion shaft 24 is fixed to the differential case C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
