Abstract:
To provide a differential gear improved in lubricity inside of a differential case.SOLUTION: A differential gear 1 includes: a differential case 2 having a spherical shell-shaped body portion 2d rotating around a first rotating shaft A and extended along the first rotating shaft, cylindrical first boss portion 2a and second boss portion 2m extended in a manner of projecting from axial both ends of the first rotating shaft of the body portion, and first grooves 2b formed on an inner peripheral surface 2k of the first boss portion and an inner peripheral surface 2n of the second boss portion; a pair of pinion gears 5 disposed in the body portion and rotating around a second rotating shaft B orthogonal to the first rotating shaft; and a pair of side gears 3 composed of bevel gears disposed on back faces of tooth portions 3c through washers 4 in the body portion, rotating around the first rotating shaft, opposed to the second rotating shaft, and engaged with the pinion gears at a right angle, and having cylindrical portions 3a disposed in a direction separating from the second rotating shaft and having recessed portions 3e recessed to a direction away from an inner peripheral surface 2p of the body portion on an outer peripheral surfaces in a cross-sectional view with an axial direction of the first rotating shaft regarded as a normal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
