Abstract:
To provide a differential gear capable of achieving improvement of lubricity and reduction of the weight.SOLUTION: A differential gear 100 includes a differential gear mechanism 2, a gear housing 11, and a flange 14. The gear housing 11 is provided with a plurality of openings 18 which communicate between an inside and an outside of the gear housing 11 and is arranged along a circumferential direction. A recessed oil reservoir 141 extending along a rotation axis radial direction and recessed from the opening 18 side toward the side opposite the opening 18 along a rotation axis direction is provided in a portion adjacent to the opening 18 in the flange 14. A recessed scattering prevention wall 145 extending along the rotation axis radial direction and recessed from the opening 18 side toward the side opposite the opening 18 along the rotation axis direction is provided in a portion adjacent to the opening 18 on an inner surface of the gear housing 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
