To provide a pressure receiving part of an easily workable construction in the case of a differential pressure transmitter of a construction wherein an excessive pressure is detected by using an excessive pressure protecting diaphragm.
This differential pressure transmitter is equipped with a high- pressure side diaphragm part 24 equipped with a high-pressure side excessive pressure protecting diaphragm 32 disposed so that its back side is joined to a high-pressure side liquid contacting surface having a low-pressure side excessive pressure liquid path 44, a low-pressure side diaphragm part 25 equipped with a low-pressure side excessive pressure protecting diaphragm 36 disposed so that its back side is joined to a low-pressure side liquid contacting surface having a high-pressure side excessive pressure liquid path 41, and a differential pressure sensor part 29. The diaphragm part 24 and the diaphragm part 25 are disposed in mutually decentered positional relation while the liquid path 41 and the liquid path 44 are bored straight, parallel to each other, in directions orthogonal to the high-pressure side and low-pressure side diaphragm parts.
