To provide a differential pressure transmitter for determining a flow rate without finding out a differential pressure range by computing the differential pressure.
The differential pressure transmitter comprises a differential pressure measuring portion 21 for measuring a differential pressure between the front and the back of a throttle mechanism; a static pressure measuring portion 22 for measuring the static pressure of fluid; a temperature measuring portion 23 for measuring the temperature of the fluid; a storage 24 for fluid information; a storage 25 for throttle mechanism information; a communication processing portion 27 for setting the fluid information in the storage 24 and the throttle mechanism information in the storage 25; a flow rate computing portion 28 for calculating the flow rate of the fluid based on a predetermined computing equation defined by the fluid information and the throttle mechanism information with the differential pressure, static pressure, and temperature as input conditions; and an analog output portion 30 for converting the flow rate calculated by the flow rate computing portion 28 into a predetermined electric signal to be output.
