PURPOSE: To provide a differential scanning calorimeter allowing the replacement of only an oven body unit, reducing the maintenance cost, simplifying the maintenance work, and allowing the operation inspection of only the oven body unit.

CONSTITUTION: A base 1 is provided with a heater feeding terminal 34 electrically connected to a device 36 feeding a current to a heater wire 10 and a thermocouple terminal 26 electrically connected to a temperature detecting device 29 detecting the temperatures of a sample and a standard material in an oven body unit 8 and an oven body and performing the preset electric processing. The heater wire 10 is removably connected to the heater feeding terminal 34 via a plug 32, and thermocouple wires 17, 18, 23 are removably connected to the thermocouple terminal 26 via a plug 22.
