Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified bus repeater making it unnecessary to use a stand-by power supply, an accurate circuit or a feedback control type operational amplifier.
SOLUTION: The audio bus repeater consists of a pair of bipolar transistors(TRs) Q1, Q2 and a differential amplifier 30, the bases of respective TRs Q1, Q2 are connected to input terminals 1, 2 through respective respective, respective emitters are connected to respective current sources 16, 20 respectively through diodes CR1, CR2, and respective collectors are connected to a reference potential point through respective load resistors R7, R8. Both the emitters are mutually connected through a gain control resistor R5 and both the collectors are connected to an output terminal 28 through a differential amplifier 30.
