Abstract:

To provide a diffraction colorant for a cosmetic because it is discovered that the diffraction colorant is extremely suitable for use in the cosmetic.

The use of the diffraction colorant in the cosmetic, the composition containing the diffraction colorant, the method for preparing the composition and the use of the composition are provided. The diffraction colorant for the cosmetic is preferably in a shape of particles, especially flaky, spherical or filmy particles, or aggregates thereof. A pigment, a carrier and another component can be mixed therewith for the optimization for topical application.
