Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffractive optical element that is easy to manufacture and capable of preventing image quality degradation due to rainbow flare, and to provide an optical system and an image capturing device.SOLUTION: In order to clear the above problem, an optical system is provided, which includes an optical surface with a fine periodic structure having a certain pitch caused by machining marks, and satisfies a predetermined conditional expression (1), where p (μm) represents the certain pitch, w (μm) represents a wavelength of a light ray of a shortest wavelength in a wavelength range in which the optical system is used, and ω' (°) represents an incident angle of a light ray having a maximum field angle among all the rays passing an optical axis on the optical surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
