Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of optical performance due to water absorption of a resin layer in a diffraction optical element and prevent cracks in the resin layer at high or low temperature and interfacial peeling thereof.SOLUTION: An diffraction optical element has a first layer and a second layer sequentially laminated on a base material, and an interface between the first and second layers to form diffraction grating. Height d of a grating part of the diffraction grating, average thickness t1 of the first layer, and average thickness t2 of the second layer satisfy the relations of 1.1×d≤t1≤50 μm and 30 μm≤t2≤(400 μm-t1-d).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
