Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for identifying the diffusion resistance of a secondary battery with which it is possible to identify the diffusion resistance regardless of what angle the inclination of a linear portion of frequency characteristic has.SOLUTION: The internal impedance of a secondary battery is represented on a Nyquist diagram on the basis of an equivalent circuit model. The angle of a section in which the frequency characteristic indicated by the Warburg impedance(s) in expression (1) changes linearly is specified on the Nyquist diagram (S1-S4), and, as to the transfer function of the equivalent circuit in which parameters R, τin expression (1) are replaced with KR, Kτderived by multiplying each of the parameters by unknown coefficients K, Kτ and then subjected to partial fraction expansion is generalized as in expression (3) (S8), the coefficients a, band coefficients K, Kof the transfer function are identified (S6, S9), whereby the diffusion resistance of a secondary battery is identified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
