To provide a strippable and sealable diffusion transfer film unit and a diffusion transfer film unit improved in curl and the fastness of a color image after stripping and sealing.

The diffusion transfer film unit is obtained by disposing: a photosensitive sheet (i) comprising an image receiving layer, a white reflective layer, a light shielding layer and a silver halide emulsion layer combined with a dye image forming material in order on the following transparent cover sheet side of a transparent support; a transparent cover sheet (ii) comprising a neutralization layer and a neutralization timing layer in order on the above photosensitive sheet side of another support; and a light shielding alkaline processing composition (iii) spread between the photosensitive sheet and the transparent cover sheet, so that the photosensitive sheet is exposed through the transparent cover sheet, wherein an adhesive layer and a stripping agent layer are adjacently disposed in a position closer to the exposure side than the image receiving layer in the photosensitive sheet and/or in an arbitrary position of the transparent cover sheet (with the proviso that the adhesive layer is located on a side closer to the image receiving layer).
