Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a D/A converter for which the relative error between weighting elements used for D/A conversion is compensated. CONSTITUTION: A D/A converter is provided with a rotation section 3. The section 3 generates rotation output signals RO1-ROM which activate/inactivate a plurality of weighting elements incorporated in a weighting section 4. The signals RO1-ROM maintain the number of activated weighting elements in each of a plurality of subordinate periods constituting the main period of D/A conversion and, at the same time, make the numbers of activating times of the weighting elements equal to each other throughout the main period.
