The digital broadcast receiver comprises: reception means for receiving a digital broadcast signal and acquiring download contents and download notice information from the received digital broadcast signal; storage means for storing the download notice information and a digital broadcast channel including the download notice information; time measuring means for measuring time; and control means for making the digital broadcast channel received and the download contents acquired, and executing the acquired download contents, according to the measured time and time information included in the stored download notice information. In next power on operation after a power off operation, the control means makes the stored digital broadcast channel received, acquires time information included in the received digital broadcast signal, and updates the time measured by the time measuring means with time information included in the acquired digital broadcast channel.
