Abstract:

To solve problems that present EPG display (display on a screen) self-evidently has a limit from the standpoint of resolution or the like and is susceptible to improvement particularly in glance property, and much time is required to receive program information for programs for a period of a week or over because the frequency of transmission of the program information is often low.

A video recording reservation method is proposed in a way of directly appealing to the sensitivity of persons such as direct description on paper in addition to exhibition of a broadcast schedule program list with excellent glance property to users. Moreover, furthermore convenience is provided to the users through the provision of functions wherein a marking column for video recording reservation is outputted and the video recording reservation is made complete by reading markings applied by the users to printouts in addition to the improvement of the glance property. Further, the convenience of the users is enhanced by making a reservation state reflected on an EPG having originally been provided on a receiver.
