Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always present reception state information by making a receivable channel and information on its reception state simple and easy to understand and informing a user of them without any hindrance to viewing.
SOLUTION: A device is equipped with a search means which performs automatic tuning detection for a receivable channel from a television radio wave, a reception state detecting means which detects the reception state, a memory which stores information on the receivable channel and its reception state, and a reception state display means which comprises, for example, a plurality of LEDs arranged outside the display screen of a monitor and displays the receivable channel and its reception state, and turns on one LED for one receivable channel and control it so that the illumination state of the LED indicates a reception state (e.g. controlling the LED to illuminate in green for an excellent reception state, in orange for a normal reception state, and in red for a bad reception state or not to illuminate for an unreceivable state).
