The digital broadcast reception storage unit, that receives and demodulates electromagnetic waves carrying digital broadcast program (contents) information and stores the program (contents) information sets a retrieval condition (S11), such as the title of the program (contents) information to be stored and a storage conditions such as a validity term (S12) and reserves storage (S20) of the program (contents) information, so long as the program (contents) information in response to the conditions exists. Then the digital broadcast reception storage unit also stores the program (contents) information on the basis of the stored reservation. Since the digital broadcast reception storage device stores only the program (contents) information, which meets the storage condition such as the validity term set by the user, the digital broadcast reception storage unit can automatically store only the required program (contents) information.
