Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002271662
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent abrasion dust from being deposited onto the surface of an imaging element.

A camera body is provided with a cartridge chamber 43 and a winding up chamber 44. A transport path is provided between a body frame and a CCD image sensor 31. A cartridge 42 having a protective film 40 wound up therein, is loaded to the cartridge chamber 43. On application of power, a carrier motor 68 drives the cartridge 42 to send the protective film 40 toward the winding chamber 44. The protection film 40 is inserted into the transport path and placed in front of the CCD image sensor 31. Abrasion dust from a shutter 30 adheres on the protective film 40, which is wound up by a winding shaft 44. The abrasion dust adhering on the protective film 40 is removed by a dust removal section 47, at the rewinding of the protective film 40.
