A digital camera 10 provided with a photographing record input function is provided with a lens part 2 for photographing which is in the front of a camera main body 1, a shutter 3 which is on the upper face of the camera, a display part 5 with a liquid crystal display screen which is at the rear of the camera and is used to not only monitor a photographed picture but also input and edit photographing record character information, a keyboard 6 for input of photographing record character information, and a memory card 4 inserted to the camera, and the digital camera 10 is constituted of a photographing record format read means 12, a monitor display/ photographing record input means 13, a photographing record composing part recording means 14, a photographing and composing means 15, and a photographed picture recording means 16.
