To realize simple/quick and economical print of a video image photographed with a digital camera and to make continuous print of a plurality of sheets more efficient.
The digital camera has a flash ROM 5 which stores digital image data, an operation SW 12 which selects data concerning a video image to be displayed from the digital image data, an LCD 7 which displays the video image concerning the selected data, a communication driver 11 which outputs the digital image data to a printer 101 and a CPU 4 which performs control so as to permit input by the operation SW 12 by recognizing a unique code in an initial operation of connection with the printer 101, displays the video image concerning the data selected by an operation of the operation SW 12 of the digital image data stored in the flash ROM 5 on the LCD 7 and to output the video image according to an instruction of the printer 101.
