Title:
DIGITAL CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005167653
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a digital camera capable of speedily performing next photographing if wrong photographing is instructed.

If a shutter button of the digital camera is pressed half, in response to this action, a temporary image is captured (step ST15). The captured temporary image is temporarily stored in an image memory and displayed on a liquid crystal monitor while the shutter button is pressed half (step ST17). If the shutter button is pressed full later, recording processing is performed, and the temporary image is recorded on a memory card (step ST19). If the shutter button is released, on the other hand, the temporary image is discarded without recording processing (step ST20). Thus, a user can judge whether or not the temporary image is to be recorded before recording and if it is an unnecessary image, recording processing is not performed, thereby speedily performing next photographing.
