A digital camera comprises: a lens control part for controlling a position of a focus lens; a diaphragm control part for controlling an opening diameter of a diaphragm; a focus adjustment part capable of focusing on each of objects at a first position and a second position within an image screen; a moving image capturing part for capturing a moving image; a storage part for storing positions of the focus lens when the objects at the first position and the second position are focused, while no moving image is taken, as a first lens position and a second lens position, respectively; and a setting part for setting a first opening diameter and a second opening diameter corresponding to the fist lens position and the second lens position, respectively. The moving image capturing part moves the focus lens from the first lens position to the second lens position in response to a predetermined operation performed when a moving image is captured, and changes the opening diameter of the diaphragm from the first opening diameter to the second opening diameter.
