Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable one camera to reproduce an image and audio data photographed and picked up by another camera definitely in the case of transferring the image and the audio data between the cameras with compatibility and vice versa.
SOLUTION: A CCD imager 1 applies photoelectric conversion to an incident light to generate image data, and the image data are recorded on a removable disk 14 together with management information denoting a compatible mode in a form in matching with one kind of compatible mode among a plurality of kinds of the compatible modes. In the case of reproduction, image data in any compatible mode among a plurality of kinds of the compatible modes are reproduced on the basis of the management information and displayed on a monitor 9.
