Title:
DIGITAL ELECTRIC/ACOUSTIC CONVERTER AND DEVICE USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3499122
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate an analog/digital(A/D) converter by providing electrodes for driving dividedly insulated while being distributed over the required area so as to correspond to the respective bit digit positions of a digital signal and electrodes for vibration detection, which have sound holes, parallelly installed while facing the other side of a conductive vibration film.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pair of conductive vibration films, plural electrodes 12 for driving, which are parallelly installed while facing these films and have electrodes, dividedly insulated while distributing their areas into size as large as the exponent multiple of '2' so as to correspond to the respective bit digit positions of the digital signal and electrodes 11 for vibration detection, which have sound holes 13, similarly parallelly installed while facing the other side of the conductive vibration film. Thus, the converter from digital electric signals to analog acoustic signals while simplifying structure and configuration while improving efficiency and frequency characteristics can be constituted as one component. Then, analog acoustic signals can be directly converted into digital electric signals.
