PURPOSE:To simply notify the operator when an error rate, etc., of reproducing data is deteriorated. CONSTITUTION:When the error rate of digital data reproduced from a recording medium 1 is more than a prescribed one, data showing a faulty reproducing state stored previously in prescribed memories 31 and 32 is read out, and this read data is outputted as a video or an audio.
