PURPOSE: To provide a watch, the service restoration of which can be confirmed with the use of a simple construction, by informing the service restoration of the watch using a commercial power source with the use of a display device and a sound generator during the time unit the watch circuit is reset.
CONSTITUTION: When the service restoration is detected by its detecting circuit 51, an FF 53 is set in response to the detected output, and a time counter 15 and a snooze operation counter 34 are reset. In respeonse to the set output of the FF 53, the display segment of the device 1 is brought into flicker flashing operation through a display control circuit 54 to display the service restoration. After a preset time later, on the other hand, the snooze condition for generating warning sounds for a preset time is effected by the time counter 15 and the counter 34 to generate the sounds informing the service restoration. These diaplay and sound generation are continued, until the reset of the FF 53 throught a command decoder 11 in response to the reset of the time counting circuit such as the time correction after the service restoration is effected and until the input to the counter 34 is interchanged to a comparison operating circuit 30, so that the service restoration and the function restoration of the watch can be confirmed with the use of such simple construction.
