Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an occupied area when a digital filter is formed into an IC.
SOLUTION: Not all data used as a filter coefficient output are stored in one memory 30, but the filter coefficient data having an effective bit length longer than that of the other data is obtained by using a simple logical output circuit 40, and only the filter coefficient data having an effective bit length shorter than that of the filter coefficient data having a long effective bit length is stored in the memory 30. In this way, the occupied area for forming the digital filter 1 into an IC can be significantly reduced, and the small digital filter 1 can be obtained.
