Title:
DIGITAL FUZZY CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03129435
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To set the number of rules arbitrarily in spite of the increment/ decrement of a circuit scale by performing the fuzzy inference of each rule with time division control.

CONSTITUTION: The circuit is provided with a memory group 19 which stores definition parameters of an antecedent part membership function and a consequent part membership function at every rule, an address decoder 22 which designates the address of the memory group 19, and a sequence controller 23 which generates a timing signal for the time division control. And the data of an address designated with the address decoder 22 is equivalent to one rule in the time division control. Therefore, the fuzzy inference for each rule can be performed with the time division control, and circuit configuration can be simplified, and the circuit scale is compressed. In such a way, it is possible to easily perform the change of the number of rules and that of a rule condition by rewriting the content of the memory group.
