Abstract:

To provide a system for setting data transmission to a digital video input/output device connected to a plurality of connectors as transmission or reception, and for performing simultaneous transmission/reception.

This computer device is provided with at least a plurality of connectors for connecting a digital video input/output device by IEEE1394 interface specifications, a control means for controlling data transmission with the digital video input/output device and data transmission by a communicating means such as the Internet or LAN, and for controlling the computer device, and a transmitting means for transmitting an input/output signal between each connector and the control means. Then, the transmission and reception of the transmission of the input/output signal to be controlled by the control means is switched.
