PURPOSE: To obtain a digital information recording device capable of pulling a data part in a stable condition before reproduction even when the gain control or the control of an euqalizing characteristic is started with the start of the respective recording tracks at the time of reproduction.

CONSTITUTION: A clock reproducing auxiliary signal 11 repeating a sign '0' and a sign '1' with a prescribed period, an M-series signal 10 and digital information in the prescribed period are made to form a pair and recording is carried out in the order of the clock reproducing auxiliary signal, the M-series signal and the digital information in the prescribed period. By recording the M-series signal comprizing spectra over a wide frequency range possessed by the digital information prior to the digital information part, the gain control or the control of equalizing characteristic, etc., are performed by utilizing the M-series signal at the time of reproduction and the digital information part is pulled in the stable condition before reproduction.
